The research mission of the Doctoral School of Psychology is aligned with the strategic mission of the West University of Timișoara, which focuses on excellence in research activities, with a strong emphasis on transdisciplinarity and interdisciplinarity.
The primary mission of the doctoral school is to stimulate and strengthen scientific activity and research programs conducted within the three doctoral fields offered by the school, with the aim of increasing the international visibility and impact of this research, as well as the national and international reputation of these academic fields at UVT. Additionally, the Doctoral School seeks to develop high-level professional competencies among its PhD students in order to enhance their competitiveness and employability in the labor market.
