The mission of the Doctoral School of Arts, in alignment with the mission and objectives of the West University of Timișoara (UVT), is to train students to attain a higher qualification corresponding to Level 8 of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and the National Qualifications Framework. The education of highly qualified professionals in Visual Arts is rooted in both scientific and artistic research.

It contributes to the recognition of the West University of Timișoara through the performance and visibility of doctoral research outcomes acknowledged at national and international levels.
